Biman Bangladesh Airlines, popularly known as Biman is the flag carrier of Bangladesh, which was founded on January 4, 1972 and started operating from February 1972. The airline operates international cargo and passenger services to 21 destinations from its hub at the Shahjalal International Airport. The airline has secondary hubs at the Shah Amanat International Airport and Osmani International Airport. It has various subsidiaries by the name of Biman Flight Catering Centre, Biman Poultry Complex, Biman Ground Handling and Bangladesh Airlines Training Center.
