Avianca Ecuador, formerly known as AeroGal, is an airline based in Quito, Ecuador, which was founded in 1985 and started operating from 1986. The airline operates cargo and passenger services to 10 destinations from its hub at the Mariscal Sucre International Airport, Quito and has secondary hubs at the El Dorado International Airport and José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport. It is owned by the Avianca Holdings Group and has been ranked among its top seven branded airlines, including Avianca Peru, Avianca Honduras, etc. its secondary hubs at the El Dorado International Airport and José Joaquín de Olmedo International Airport. The airline is a member of the Star Alliance.
