About Air India
Air India is the flag carrier airline of India, owned by the Airline India Limited (AIL), which is Government enterprise.
The airline was founded in July 1930 as Tata Airlines and started operating from October 15, 1932. It is the third largest airline in India with its
headquarters at the Indian Airlines House, New Delhi and major hubs at the Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport and Indira Gandhi International
Airport, from where it covers about 49 domestic destinations, along with 26 international destinations, including Kathmandu, Tokyo, London, Paris and
Newark. It was recently rewarded with the Cargo Airline of the Year and has been a winner of Preferred International Airline award for travel and
hospitality from Awaz Consumer Awards in 2006.

departure. The facility is available for all the destinations except Bahrain, Dhaka, Muscat, Melbourne, and Sydney.
